Details:

Join this Practice Group for an intentional time of guided spiritual practice that connects you with the beauty and wisdom of the natural world. DESCRIPTION: One of the greatest gifts you can receive is connection with the living world around you. When you connect with the natural world, you are invited into an understanding about what it means to be alive. You are held within the realm of living things. You are taught natural rhythms and shown cycles of movement and rest, growth and harvest, life and death. You bear witness to principles of impermanence and beauty, of change and imperfection. You are invited into an ancient truth that your body knows, but your mind often forgets…that nature is more than metaphor, that you are part of her realm. This spring's offering of the PRACTICE PARTNER'S GROUP is an opportunity to engage in the practice of Connection with Nature. For six weeks, we will meet to discover what nature has to offer us about: • Nature as a Teacher • Engaging Wonder • Being Present • Facing Suffering • Welcoming Love • Being Wild Our time together will include: • Actual Time for Spiritual Practice IN NATURE • Practice of Presence through Prayer and Meditation • Teachings about how to look to nature as a wise teacher • Experiences of how to connect with nature in a way that helps you connect to a deeper part of yourself • Step-by Step Guided Instruction for all Nature Practices (i.e., including audio and printable guides) • Support through Community that offers the opportunity for both insight and connection. Practice Partner Groups are offered seasonally as a way of partnering with you as you DO the practice. The intention is for you to gain wisdom, learn by doing, and experience support, all for your own spiritual journey. Join us in a meaningful time to relax, reflect, and receive something that you need, through engagement with nature…all within a welcoming and supportive community!
